How Booking and Deposits Work at Onuby Ink, a Private Pet Tattoo Studio in Singapore

Onuby Ink is a private studio with one artist, so every booking is a slot I am holding for you and nobody else. Here is how it works, and why the deposit exists, so there are no surprises.

From first message to appointment

1. You message me

Send your availability, photos of your pet, the size in centimetres, whether you want face or full body, whether you prefer colour or black and grey, and a photo of the area with the spot circled. Not sure about any of it? Just ask and I will guide you.

2. I send you a quote

With your details I can give you an accurate price.

3. You pay the deposit

The moment it arrives I start reserving your slot and begin work on your design.

4. You come in

On the day, the deposit is deducted from the total, so you only pay the remaining balance.

Why the deposit is non-refundable

A pet portrait is drawn specifically for you from your photos, and that takes real time before you ever sit in the chair. The deposit covers that time and effort, and it also holds a slot I cannot give to anyone else. It is also a sign of commitment and trust on both sides.

Once it has been transferred it cannot be refunded, even if you change your mind and I do not end up tattooing you. Please take the time to research and choose the right artist before you pay. Looking at my healed work on Instagram (@onubyink) is a good place to start.

Plan your time

Please set aside enough time on the day. I will not rush a tattoo under any circumstances, because how rushed or well-prepared a session is affects how your tattoo looks for the rest of your life. If time limits are given and we have to stop early and book a second session, extra charges may apply.

Before your appointment

Avoid heavy drinking and any blood-thinning medicine for 24 hours before. Rest well, drink water and eat something before you come. Try not to plan anything strenuous or water-based after your appointment. I will give you aftercare instructions after the session, and they are also covered in the aftercare guide on this blog.

Cancelling or rescheduling

Please give at least 72 hours' notice. If you cancel or reschedule within 72 hours, the deposit is forfeited unless it is an emergency. Rescheduling for a valid reason is allowed up to two times. If you are feeling unwell, please tell me.
